Installation steps for STONEVO stone panels
(1) Verify & prep the substrate
Ensure ZIP System® sheathing is installed per manufacturer guidance, with seams taped, penetrations/flashing complete, and surfaces flat, clean, dry, and dust-free.
Repair damage and remove contaminants (oils, release agents, loose materials).
(2) Plan the layout
Establish level reference lines and dry-fit panels to plan seams and cuts.
Stagger joints for a natural flow; allow appropriate movement gaps at transitions and terminations.
(3) Cutting & tools
Use standard tools (e.g., track saw or angle grinder with a suitable stone/diamond blade; shears for trims as appropriate).
Ease or seal exposed edges as desired for the design.
(4) Adhesive application (included in every set)
Trowel STONEVO Adhesive onto the substrate as directed on the label; add supplemental spots to the panel back for minor plane adjustments if needed.
Work in manageable areas to maintain open time.
(5) Set the panels
Press panels firmly into place along your layout lines; roll with a clean rubber roller to achieve full contact.
Maintain consistent joints; check alignment frequently.
(6) Details & protection
Integrate with flashings and trims; keep weeps/drainage paths clear as required by code and wall design.
Protect the installation from rain, impact, and dust until the adhesive cures fully (per label) before cleaning or loading.
